LimelightSA launches 2011 with a new Level 1 BEE score.

The latest Sera-awarded Broadbased BEE score for LimelightSA is a Level 1 – with a total score of 102, giving us a B-BBEE recognition level of 135%. We are exceptionally proud of this achievement because of what it means to our clients, contemporaries and each of us within the agency. BEE scoring is an important part of both how we answer and deliver on what our clients require from us, as well as playing our part in the ongoing transformation of South Africa.

We have met and exceeded targets across four measurable elements:

Employment Equity: Exceeding this target, we have proven our commitment to having the right mix of people that ensures a sustained, quality product that is delivered to each of our clients.

Enterprise Development: We have met this target through our investment in start-up businesses, helping them both with their marketing initiatives as well as infrastructure and professional guidance. Coaching and mentorship goes a long way to providing the right foundation for them, ultimately translating into successful independent businesses that go on to benefit all employed therein.

Socio-Economic Development: We are committed to the positive result of effective Social Responsibility initiatives. With our on-going work with Miracle Mission Children’s Home, a scholarship made available to a promising graduate to pursue an MBA, sponsorship of an underprivileged karate team and the South Rand Hospital’s soccer team, LimelightSA is able to deliver for the common purpose. As these organisations develop and grow, so too can the effect they have and the benefits they provide for all concerned.

Edith Lovejoy Pierce said that with the New Year, we will open a new book. Its pages will be blank, but we will put words on them ourselves. The book is called "Opportunity" and its first chapter is New Year's Day.
